The KOD (Key On Data) device is designed to provide RTS control in a three wire Data System---A simple solution to a complex Radio or Telco Modem interface problem. Installation is easy because the DB25M/F connections are wired for mating with standard Data Communication Equipment (DCE). Point to point internal wiring on clocking pins 15, 17 & 24 allow the KOD to be used with either Sync or Async Data networks. The low d-c power requirement of 9-12 Volts at 50 ma. (max---to be provided on pin 6), makes powering a breeze. And the selectable Data Delay provides a T/R timing range suitable for most radio communication applications.  If needed, a longer or more precise timing option is now available for those special requirements.
